Kathryn Beasley, formally known as Katya Floercke, before marrying her husband James Beasley in 2020. Has been an aspiring artist since 2016 and has been constantly pushing her boundaries as an artist and an individual.

Group Exhibition (University Of Victoria)

Curation of show Left to Dry consisting of 5 separate artists, they hosted a three-day art show at the University of Victoria.

April 2020

Group Exhibition (University of Victoria)

The video curated show "Outsider" consisted of 9 separate artists. The week-long show was hosted at the University of Victoria at "The Void".

February 2019

Solo Photography show (Salt Spring Coffee - Cafe)

The show consisted of 10 framed and hung works, all various sizes. The show "Youth" was hung for a full month.

Was tasked by "The Form" on Salt Spring Island to be a photographer for a handful of events.

Created templates that flowed with a clean and fresh look. Filled content on pages with own work and created digital graphics.

Capable of taking steady cinematic shots while also being able to lead a story or message. Quick and advanced edits are available and easily accessed.

Local Salt Spring Island Photographers community chose Kathryn as a guest photographer to the 2015 Photosynthesis Show at Art Spring.

GISS Yearbook (yearbook photo guru/editor)

As an extracurricular, created two yearbooks for two consecutive years. While being editor for one, has designed handfuls of spreads, and took a multitude of high-quality photos.
